"We've got three offices and none of them talk to each other"

The situation

A company with a head office and two branches. Each site worked in its own bubble: files got passed around by email or on a USB stick carried between locations. You could never tell which version was the right one.

What we did

We linked all three offices with a secure connection between them, set up a shared space where files are always up to date, and brought everyone's email and calendars together so they all see the same thing. All done over a weekend, without stopping anyone's work.

All three offices working as one by Monday morning.

"The wifi drops every morning and no one knows why"

The situation

A 40-person office. Every morning the wifi got overloaded and dropped out, right when video calls were happening. The internet provider insisted the line was fine.

What we did

We tracked down what was interfering with the signal, repositioned the wifi points, installed more modern equipment, split the guest wifi from the company network, and gave video calls priority so they wouldn't stutter.

Zero dropouts over the following 18 months. Three times the speed.

The situation

The central computer holding everything — files, the management software, everyone's login details — was getting on in years, with a disk on the verge of failing. If it had died, the business would have ground to a halt for days.

What we did

We moved everything across to new hardware step by step: first we copied everything without touching the old system, then tested that it all worked, and finally made the switch over a weekend. The new setup is faster and has plenty of room to grow.

Switch-over completed in a weekend. Zero working hours lost.
